Who looks after your information?
Hannah Peacock, trading as Hannah Peacock Design, is responsible for personal information collected through this website. For privacy questions or requests, email hello@hannahpeacockdesign.me.
What information is collected?
The contact form collects your name, email address and message. Your enquiry is saved in the website’s content management system so Hannah can review and respond to it. If you contact Hannah directly, your correspondence and any project details you choose to share may also be kept.
Hosting services may process technical information such as your IP address, browser details, requested pages and access times to deliver and protect the website. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information through the enquiry form.
Why is it used?
Your information is used to answer enquiries, discuss potential projects and provide design services. Taking steps towards a contract at your request, or carrying out an agreed contract, is the basis for project-related processing. Other correspondence and website security are handled for the legitimate interests of communicating with people who contact the business and keeping the website secure. Records may also be retained where needed to meet legal obligations.
You do not have to submit an enquiry. The form needs your name, email and message so Hannah can understand and respond to your request. Submitting it does not subscribe you to marketing emails.
Who can access it?
Information may be accessed by Hannah and authorised people providing website or business support where needed for their work. The website uses Vercel for hosting and file storage, and a database service to store enquiries. Email providers process correspondence when you contact Hannah by email.
Service providers may process information outside the UK. The applicable locations and transfer arrangements depend on the provider and account configuration; contact Hannah for further details. Information may also be disclosed when required by law.
How long is it kept?
Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to handle the conversation and any resulting project. The appropriate period depends on whether work goes ahead, ongoing support needs and any legal or accounting requirements. You can contact Hannah to ask about the information held about you or request its deletion, subject to any obligations to retain it.
Cookies and external links
This website currently has no advertising trackers or visitor analytics scripts added to it. Essential cookies may be used for administration, access protection and security. The portfolio’s social links take you to external websites rather than embedding their feeds. Those websites have their own privacy and cookie policies.
Your choices and rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access or correct your personal information, request deletion or restriction, object to its use, or request a portable copy. If any processing relies on your consent, you can withdraw it. These rights are subject to the conditions and exceptions in data protection law.
Email hello@hannahpeacockdesign.me to make a request. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. The website does not use your enquiry for automated decisions or profiling that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
Updates to this policy
This page may be updated as the website or business services change. The date above shows when it was last revised.
